Jan Horstmann
Jan Horstmann did his PHd in German Studies at the University of Hamburg on “Theatre Narratology” (published 2018 in de Gruyters Narratologia series) and works in Digital Humanities since 2016. After a project on digital investigation of renunciation and irony in Goethe he coordinates the DFG-funded project forTEXT since May 2017. Jan studied German studies and History (B.A.) at the University of Münster and German Literatures (M.A.) at the University of Hamburg. In digital literary studies the knowledge potential of digital methods with regards to literary research questions is important to him.
