- The Museum for the printing Arts is unique for the scope and diversity of its exhibits. The outstanding feature of this museum is that all appliances, tools and machines are not presented as mute testimonies of their time, but as vivid working demonstrations of a wide range of techniques (Druckkunstmuseum).
- The guided boat tour leads us along one of the oldest mail-order houses of Germany (Mey & Edlich), the "yarn factories" (currently the greatest industrial monument of Germany) and the villas of several important families of Leipzig such as Baedeker and Klinger. The tour leads us on the white Elster and the Karl-Heine-Canal to the Leipziger Palm-garden-dam (source: Stadthafen).
