Experts
Workshops will be given by renowned specialists from Germany and other countries, who besides English know also other European and or Non-European languages. They are themselves involved with relevant digital humanities or infrastructure projects, are experts in methods and technologies which play an important role in the Digital Humanities, are conscious of the questions which the application of computational methodes to cultural artefacts pose, and have significant experience in the teaching of the respective competencies.
Thanks to the generous support of CLARIN ERIC, a total of four workshops can be offered by experts from the CLARIN-D environment.
Namely, Andreas Witt who offers the workshop Compilation, Annotation and Analysis of Written Text Corpora. Introduction to Methods and Tools, Bernhard Fisseni who offers the workshop Searching Linguistic Patterns in Text Corpora for Digital Humanities Research, Christoph Draxler who offers the workshop All About Data – Exploratory Data Modelling and Practical Database Access, and Janos Borst who offers the workshop An Introduction to Neural Networks for Natural Language Processing - Applications and Implementation
