Mareike Schumacher

Mareike Schumacher is a Phd student in German Literature and Digital Humanities at Hamburg University. Before she started to study she worked as a bookseller, since 2013 she worked in the Digital Humanities projects DARIAH-DE and efoto and since July 2018 she is responsible for digital dissemination in the project forTEXT. Mareike studied cultural studies (B.A.) at Leuphana University Lüneburg and German Literature (M.A.) in Hamburg and likes best to use distant reading methods. For forTEXT it's especially important to her to prepare abstract routines clearly and to always position the literary example in the center.
