
David Joseph Wrisley
David Joseph Wrisley is Associate Professor of Digital Humanities at New York University Abu Dhabi (UAE). He was formerly Associate Professor in the Department of English at the American University of Beirut where he served as Chair from 2010 to 2014. He is the founder of the Digital Humanities Institute - Beirut, the first such yearly training event in the Middle East. He publishes in French studies, comparative medieval studies, digital literary studies and on the cultures of the Mediterranean and Arab World. He has held visiting researcher positions in Europe, North Africa and North America.
