Simona Stoyanova
Simona completed Classical high-school and her bachelor’s degree in Classics in Sofia, Bulgaria. She has a master’s degree in Classics from King’s College London where she also trained as a Greek and Latin epigrapher. While at KCL, she also studied Digital Humanities and worked on various Digital Classics projects. Simona is currently doing a PhD at King’s College London on the relationship between the Greek and Latin epigraphic traditions in the Roman province of Thrace. She has been working at the Humboldt Chair of Digital Humanities in Leipzig since late 2013, where she works on digitisation and research projects, and teaches electronic textual editing.
