Bursaries

Thanks to the generous support granted by the Volkswagen Foundation to the Summer School, participants who have no possibility of applying for a refund from another institution can apply for a bursary.

Please note:

A bursary covers only economy flights / 2nd class train / bus tickets.

A bursary does not cover flight / train / bus tickets if the journey lasts longer than 9 days altogether (for example: arrival 25th of July - departure 02nd of August would be fine; but: arrival 25th of July - departure 03rd of August would mean that the flight / train / bus tickets cannot be covered)

A bursary does not cover insurance costs.

A bursary covers accommodation costs only up to 59 € per night. For the breakfast an additional € 4,80 can be covered by us.

A bursary does not cover the costs for a visa.
