Bursaries
The application for bursaries is closed.
Application for a bursay is through ConfTool. Applications are considered on a rolling basis. Only applications of people who have registered for the school will be considered.
The application (300-500 words) needs to be a document / file in English. A document which proves the applicant's affiliation and her / his status has to be presented at the moment of application.
All bursaries consist of a lump sum and will be handed out during the Summer School.

Please note, there are no travel, accommodation and subsistence bursaries.
Bursaries
(1) The University of Leipzig through its International Centre is generously offering up to ten bursaries for participants coming from its Eastern European partner universities:

Bursaries consist of a lump sum of approximately € 300,00 for students, € 400,00 for doctoral students and € 700,00 for members of the scientific staff (postdoc researcher, faculty lecturer, adjunct / associate / assistent / full professor).
Applicants need to prove their affiliation to one of the above universities and their status.
(2) The University of Leipzig is offering furthermore 1 bursary to a member of the scientific staff (postdoc researcher, faculty lecturer, adjunct / associate / assistant / full professor) from one of its non-European partner universities.
The bursary consists of a lump sum of € 700,00.
Applicants need to prove their affiliation to one of the non-European partner universities of the University of Leipzig and their status.
(3) Bursaries for participants who are members of universities which are not partners of the University of Leipzig.
Bursaries consist of a lump sum of € 300,00 for (doctoral) students (no employment), € 400,00 for young scholars (employed), and € 700,00 for University faculty / staff. Members of Leipzig University will not be considered at the moment.
Preference will be given to (doctoral) students and young scholars (employed) who explain convincingly their need for such a bursary.
