Scientific Committee
The Scientific Committee is composed of the following Digital Humanities scholars from different European countries and disciplines (in alphabetical order):
- Jean Anderson, Resource Development Officer at the School of English and Scottish Language and Literature and member of the Humanities Advanced Technology and Information Institute, University of Glasgow (Great Britain)
- Alex Bia, Professor for Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science at the Universidad Miguel Hernández, Elche (Spain)
- Dino Buzzetti, Professor for the History of Medieval Philosophy at the Università di Bologna (Italy)
- Elisabeth Burr, Professor for French, Francophone and Italian Linguistics at the Universität Leipzig (Germany)
- Laszlo Hunyadi, Professor for General and Applied Linguistics at the University of Debrecen (Hungary)
- Jan Rybicki, Assistant Professor at the Institute of English Studies of the Uniwersytet Jagielloński, Kraków (Poland)
- Corinne Welger-Barboza, Assistant Professor (Maitre de Conférences) of Art History and Archeology at the Université Paris 1 – Panthéon-Sorbonne (France)
The Committee is responsible for the accademic contents and programme of the Summer School. Together with the workshop leaders it reviews the applications of potential participants and decides on their admission to a specific workshop. It also evaluates the projects presented by participants in view of a possible pubblication.
