Peter Fankhauser

Peter Fankhauser is senior researcher at IDS Mannheim (Institut für Deutsche Sprache) working on long term archival of language resources. In the 25 years of his academic career he has worked at various research institutions in Germany. His expertise and interests include database and repository technologies, XML, and data and text mining with applications to language corpora. He was coeditor of the XQuery formal semantics, and has published over 70 peer-reviewed papers.
