Bogdan, Martin
Martin Bogdan received his engineer diploma in signal engineering from the Fachhochschule Offenburg, Offenburg, Germany, in 1993, his engineer diploma in industrial informatics and instrumentation from the Universität Joseph Fourier Grenoble, Grenoble, France, in 1993, and his Ph.D. degree in computer science (computer engineering) from the University of Tübingen, Tübingen, Germany, in 1998.
In 1994, he joined the Department of Computer Engineering at the University of Tübingen, where he has been the Head of the Research Group NeuroTeam since 2000. This research group deals mainly with signal processing based on artificial neural networks and machine learning focussed on but not limited to biomedical applications. From winter term 2005/2006 until winter term 2007/2008 he has been a Substitute Professor for Computer Engineering at the University of Leipzig. In 2008 he become full Professor for Computer Engineering at the University of Leipzig. His work still deals with biomedical signal processing focussed on neuroinformatics regarding bioanalog information processing and cognitve science.
