Jeremi Ochab
Jeremi Ochab is a post-doc researcher at the Institute of Physics, Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland. He graduated in theoretical physics but has been interested mainly in interdisciplinary applications of its mathematical tools, e.g., in modelling synchronisation phenomena, epidemic spread, and in analysis of complex networks. His main preoccupation at the moment is developing algorithms for detection of modular structures in such networks and investigating signals generated by random processes, including analysis of neural activity in humans. Recently, he additionally graduated in translation at the Institute of English Studies, Jagiellonian University. He has been brought into the realm of stylometry and authorship attribution by J. Rybicki and M. Eder, which before long made him interested in data mining, statistical analysis, and machine learning tools applied to natural language processing and other linguistic problems.
