Tomasi, Francesca
Francesca Tomasi is Assistant Professor (System of elaboration of information – Computational Engineering) at the Department of Classical Philology and Italian Studies (University of Bologna). Her main research interest covers the study of digital text representation, computational models for Web dissemination of textual documents and images and implementation in information systems. She teaches “Digital humanities”, “Archive and Computer” and “Multimedia production” at the Faculty of Italian Studies. She is involved in the scientific committee of the Italian Digital Humanities Association (“Informatica Umanistica e Cultura Digitale”). One of her latest publications is: Metodologie informatiche e discipline umanistiche, Carocci, Roma 2008; Rappresentare e conservare, in D. Fiormonte, T. Numerico, F.
