Jason Boyd
Jason Boyd (PhD, University of Toronto) is Assistant Professor in the Department of English and the Masters of Digital Media and Communication and Culture programs at Ryerson University. He is a Co-Director of the Ryerson Centre for Digital Humanities and an Assistant Director of the Digital Humanities Summer Institute (DHSI) at University of Victoria. Prior to joining Ryerson, he was a Senior Research Associate and the Digital Projects Manager of the international search project, Records of Early English Drama (REED), playing a key role in the development and management of the Patrons and Performances database, the Early Modern London Theatres (EMLoT) project, and The Fortune Theatre Records: A Prototype Digital Edition. He is a graduate of Dr. Lynne Siemens's "Issues in Large Project Planning and Management" DHSI course, and co-taught the Project Management workshop with Dr. Siemens at the 2014 DHSI@Congress (Canadian Federation of the Humanities and Social Sciences).
