Erhard Hinrichs
Erhard Hinrichs is professor of General and Computational Linguistics at the University of Tübingen, Germany. He is the national coordinator of the CLARIN(Common Language Resource and Technology Infrastructure; http://www.clarin-d.de/en/) European research infrastructure for the Humanities and Social Sciences and a principle investigator of the Collaborative Research Area on the theme of Construction of Meaning: Dynamics and Adaptivity of Linguistic Structures (SFB 883).
His research interests include digital humanities, the computational modelling of language comprehension (particularly of syntax and semantics) and of language variation with special emphasis on the use of machine learning approaches and on the development of tools and resources for German.
