Talleres

La universidad de verano va a ofrecer diferentes talleres sobre los métodos y las tecnologías que juegan un papel central en las humanidades digitales en su sentido más largo. Estos talleres se ofrecerán en paralelo a lo largo de los 11 días. Cada taller se compone de un total de 18 sesiones o 36 horas lectivas semanales.

Los talleres se estructurarán en dos bloques iguales de 18 horas lectivas cada uno. Los participantes pueden apuntarse a los dos bloques de un mismo taller o a dos bloques de talleres diferentes. Los participantes que deseen apuntarse a dos bloques de talleres diferentes, tienen que demostrar en su solicitud que ya tienen algún conocimiento de los temas que se tratarán en el primer bloque (al que no asistirán), que se corresponde con el segundo bloque de la segunda semana (al que desean apuntarse).

No será posible inscribirse en un solo bloque.

  3. Nils Reiter / Sarah Schulz (Universität Stuttgart, Alemania): Reflected Text Analysis in the Digital Humanities (2a semana)
  4. David Joseph Wrisley (New York University Abu Dhabi, UAE) / Randa El Khatib (University of Victoria, Canada): Humanities Data and Mapping Environments (2 semanas) - en este taller no hay màs plazas
  5. Maciej Eder (Polish Academy of Sciences / Pedagogical University, Cracow, Polonia) / Jeremi Ochab (Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Polonia): Stylometry (2 semanas) - en este taller no hay màs plazas
  6. Christoph Draxler (Universität München, Alemania) / Thorsten Trippel (Eberhard-Karls Universität Tübingen, Alemania): Asking questions to data in the humanities: right, correct, efficient (Introducing and comparing XQuery, SQL, SPARQL for data from the humanities) (2 semanas)
  7. Peter Bell (Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Alemania) / Leonardo Impett (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Suiza): Computer Vision Intervention. How digital methods help to visually understand corpora of art and cultural heritage (1a semana)
  8. Nicola Carboni (Harvard Institut „Villa I Tatti", Firenze, Italia) / Leo Zorc (Universität Zürich / ETH Zürich, Suiza): Integrating Human Science Data using CIDOC-CRM as Formal Ontology: a practical approach (2a semana)
  9. Tommi A. Pirinen (Universität Hamburg, Alemania): The humanities scholar's perspective on rule based machine translation (2 semanas)
  10. Eun Seo Jo (Stanford University, Estados Unidos): Word Vectors and Corpus Text Mining with Python (2 semanas) - en este taller no hay màs plazas
  11. Lynne Siemens (University of Victoria, Canada): Introduction to Project Management (2a semana)

El número de participantes de cada uno de los talleres estará limitado a 10.

Los participantes deberán traer sus propios materiales y proyectos en los que pueda aplicarse y someterse a prueba la materia lectiva.

Para cada taller habrá un Moodle en el cual se pondrán a disposición los materiales para la preparación y que se utilizará como medio de enseñanza durante la Escuela de Verano.
