Randa El Khatib
Randa El Khatib is a doctoral candidate in English at the University of Victoria, where she also holds the Special Projects Coordinator position in the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab (ETCL). She is the co-instructor of the “Introduction to Computation for Literary Criticism” at the Digital Humanities Summer Institute (DHSI) and the co-organizer of Digital Humanities Institute – Beirut (2015). Working on plays and epic poetry of the English Renaissance, Randa’s research focuses on how space is represented in fictional and allegorical settings. Randa is the Project Manager of the TopoText team (American University of Beirut), and an Alliance of Digital Humanities Organizations Communications Fellow (2017-2018).
