Monica Berti

Monica Berti is Akademische Assistentin at the University of Leipzig (Alexander von Humboldt Chair of Digital Humanities), where she teaches courses in digital philology and digital scholarly editing. She has been working since 2008 with the Perseus Digital Library at Tufts University, where she has also been visiting professor in the Department of Classics. Her research interests are mainly focused on ancient Greece and the digital humanities and she has been extensively publishing and leading projects in both fields. She is currently working on representing quotations and text reuses of ancient lost works and she is leading the Leipzig Open Fragmentary Texts Series (LOFTS), which is part of the Open Philology Project of the Humbolt Chair of Digital Humanities at the University of Leipzig.
